All appointment requests are managed by clinicians, who will take a history and allocate you an appointment within the correct time frame. To speak to a clinician and arrange an appointment please go on to our on line triage system called Engage Consult please click on icon below.

Our Patient Services Team may well ask for the reason you wish to make an appointment so that the GP has an understanding of the nature of the problem before they call but you do not have to give this information if you would prefer not to.

You can request to speak to your usual GP by telephoning on a day they are working. You can find a list of their working days here: GP Working Hours

We have staff who are trained as chaperones, so please ask when making an appointment if you would like to make use of this service.

The surgery is open every week-day apart from bank holidays. We try to offer you an appointment with your doctor at a time which is convenient for you, although this is obviously difficult to achieve for everyone. In a medical emergency we will always arrange for you to see a doctor on that day.

You can choose which doctor you see. Please let Patient Services know if you want to see a female doctor. Once you have started seeing a doctor for a particular problem, we recommend that you continue to see the same doctor wherever possible for that problem, so that we can offer you continuity of care.

If you have a rash or may be infectious, please let Patient Services know and they will arrange for you to wait in a separate room.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
